🎮 What Is Stick Drift?

Stick drift happens when an analog stick begins registering movement even though the stick is sitting in its neutral position.

For example, you may notice:

* Your character slowly walking without touching the controller

* Your camera moving or turning on its own

* Your aim drifting during gameplay

* Menus scrolling without input

* Difficulty keeping your character or cursor centered

* One direction responding differently than another

* Increasingly inconsistent analog stick movement

Stick drift is commonly associated with wear or failure within the controller's analog stick module. Cleaning or recalibration may sometimes help depending on the cause, but worn internal components may require replacement
